Clouds of White

I look up

There’s nothing but clouds above me,

Just patches of white among blue for as

Far as I can see.

I see animals, and objects and people;

Drifting slowly along the endless sky,

Some were grey, carrying heavy water,

And as a drop hits my head, I sigh.

Then something dark clouds my vision;

And I roll over to see past it, then-

THUD! I hit something hard.

I open my eyes to a black room,

I lie on the floor, waiting in doom,

But since the dream I had came to an end,

I hopped back up and got into bed.
